Resumo: | This research aimed to understand the change in the use of the concept of socialization to the use of the concept of sociability and the emergence conditions of this conceptual turn within the field Sociology of Childhood. This field, which was constituted with a strong criticism of the concept of socialization in its Durkheimian sense, has been broadening the debate on the processes of socialization, either reconceptualizing, or proposing other concepts. A bibliographic study was carried out, with genealogical inspiration, based on the platforms Scielo Br and Catalog of Theses and Dissertations of CAPES, which have been used to understand: why the concept of sociability came to be used; the concept of sociability itself; which authors started using the concept of sociability; and, finally, who developed the concept of sociability. It was found that the concept of socialization is still used in its Durkheimian sense; that there is still a confusion between the concepts of socialization and sociability; that the concept of Interpretative Reproduction is used as an alternative to that of socialization; that the concept of sociability bears elements which corroborate the understanding of the phenomenon of interaction between society and individual in the sphere of the proposal and the principles of Sociology of Childhood. |
