Resumo: This dissertation aims to map women who worked in the creative processes of cinema production in Rio Grande do Sul, between 1996 and 2017, in films that were released commercially in movie theaters. The interest of this research is to identify how many and who these women are, to verify in which functions (direction, production direction, script, photography direction, art direction and editing) there is a greater incidence of their presence, to verify in which periods and in which genders movies there are greater participation of women, as well as pointing out in which titles the creative nucleus is formed mostly by women. For that, data were collected about the films and the research subjects, in this way, these data enter into dialogue mainly with concepts such as women's cinema, feminisms, context analysis, production process, invisibility and silences, by authors such as Annette Kuhn (1991), João Guilherme Barone (2009), Michelle Perrot (2007) e Marcela Lagarde y de los Ríos (2012). The general results point to a greater presence of women in the function of producers, in fiction films, which were released especially in 2017.
