The present research proposes to reflect about the foundation of a solidarity economy in the light of Sacred Scripture. For this, a socio-economic approach to analyze some Old Testament clipping and also from the gospels of Luke and John which signalize more directly the ways to replace the fratricide economy for the solidarity economy. The hope of a solidarity economy is based in God, but He can not execute it passing above the people’s freedom, for this He looks into available contributors willing to imitate His generous act and compromise with His project. In John 6,1-15, Jesus signalize with the sharing/multiplication’s bread that the Kingdom is already between them. The great miracle is overcoming the selfishness and it might be repeated, because the Eucharistic supper requires, necessarily, the fulfillment of the duty of solidarity and sharing. Thus, the Christians can become yeast of a new economy.
