Resumo: |
The relevance of inter-religious dialogue in the construction of spaces for peace and nonviolence: perceptions of religious leaders in Southern Brazil. It aims to investigate the importance of the theme of peace for leaders in inter-religious dialogue. A panoramic view was produced as a referential horizon in the search for peace among peoples from Antiquity to the present day, revisiting important peace treaties in the city of Osnabrück, Germany, recognized by the United Nations (UN) as the city of peace, going through the practices of peace promoted by Jesus of Nazareth, according to Christological research, in the current search for peace among religions. Based on a bibliographic research about the theme in recent theology, a link was used to Vygotsky's concept of proximal zone, building a new concept of inter-religious dialogical proximal zone. In this context a questionnaire and interviews were also applied for a qualitative research with representatives of different religious traditions through the Inter-religious Dialogue Group of Porto Alegre - DIRPOA. The main objective was to analyze the role of religions in promoting peace and nonviolence in local society. The result of this thesis points to a horizon of encounters perceived in the inter-religious dialogue proximal zone. |
