Resumo: The dissertation presents biblical-theological bases for the systematic elaboration of a Mariology of Hope. The context of a plural society poses problems that challenge Mariology for the dialogue between Marial Theology and Theology of Hope, in line with the transformations initiated by the Second Vatican Council. In this process, the contributions of Pope Francis and other contemporary thinkers, such as José Tolentino Mendonça and Tomáš Halík, stand out. First, the research seeks to situate the current state of the mariological question and the foundations of theological reflection on Christian hope. Then, it offers a biblical-theological synthesis of Mariology of Hope. In a third moment, the dissertation makes a reading of the hope from the Greek mythology, of some philosophical and theological currents and current social movements. The research uses Moltmann's synthetic method and hermeneutics, applying eschatological reading to Mariology. The practice of Mary of Nazareth pushes Christian hope for men in general and for women in particular, based on divine promises made to the people of God and ratified in Jesus of Nazareth.
