Resumo: |
This research reflects on the experiences of communicating with images. It is part of a visual ethnography at the collective exhibition titled "Shared Ethnographies: Visual and Sound Narratives of Urban Living in Porto Alegre" (organized by students of Social Sciences and researchers of the Visual Anthropology Center (UFRGS). How do we talk with images? In what ways are the narratives and images of the exhibition connected by the biographical narratives of the visiting public and their socio-cultural contexts? Yet, how such connexion composes a imaginary constellation of the sensible forms of contemporain urban living? Three videoetnographic chronicles were created, corresponding to the three interlocutors protagonists: Claudio, Elenir and Tumax. After the interlacings by the dimensions of communication, image and narrative, a constellation of images of the pursuit of equilibrium (in dialectics to modern life) was configured and an imagery triptych (of intimacy, impermanence and reflexivity) was circulated between narrative fragments of the exhibition, biographies and their sociocultural contexts through different types of communication (linear, circular and zigzag) and imagery-becoming. |
