This work was developed in the field of Creative Writing and is made of ruins. It is in the investigation of this fragmented image that the first pages inaugurate an essayistic text, called Abismo, with the intention of thinking about themes and concepts present in the entire process of literary writing presented here, intertwining the ideas of abyss and vertigo and pointing to the creative and unpredictable paths that underlie a creative process of search and experimentation. All of this leads to the next session, Vertigem, an intermediate session that presents some fragments, which are excerpts from a personal journal and notes written during the process. Closing the dissertation, Vertigem is followed by a sequence of thirty-six creative texts and then a compilation of unexecuted ideas, with writing prompts that were abandoned mid writing. As a whole, this text has something of hybrid or unclassifiable, terms that end up mirroring the turbulent course of its production between some projects that did not come to fruition as planned. This dissertation, finally, achieves the main goal of being a study of the creative process. |
