Resumo: |
This research proposes a discussion about female migration from African countries, particularly the Portuguese-speaking African Countries. Qualitative interviews were conducted with immigrant women, guided by the biographical narrative approach developed by Fritz Schütze and perfected by Gabriele Rosenthal. Through this approach it was possible to understand the way Bengui an immigrant from Angola, experienced the migratory context and interpreted migration in her biography. The reconstruction of Bengui's case gives rise to a form of interpretation about migration, not inserted in the stigma of the African immigrant as a man who decides to leave his country for financial reasons, removing from Brazilian sociological research, processes of repetition of representations of socially legitimated discourses about immigrant women. Throughout the research, concepts centered on international migration, African migration, and women's migration were discussed as well as in comprehensive sociology, disposing on the approach of biographical narratives. |
