Technological advances in Information and Comunication (TIC) raises numerous social transformations. While adults try to adapt to this digital world, new students are already considered native, so their educators need to accompany them so that together they can make good use of computational tools. For this, the degree courses should provide spaces for practice and reflections over the use of these technologies for education. In this sense, this research presents the results of an investigation about on the perceptions of undergraduate biology at a private university in southern Brazil on educational computer, with emphasis on the use of educational software. Through an Educational Software building workshop, using MS PowerPoint application, the subjects of this research were invited to reflect on the Educational Computing as a methodological innovation tool. The research had character qualitative, type case study, adopted Discursive Textual Analysis (ATD) for processing data. The results indicated that licentiate consider important the use of technological tools for teaching process, however, do not feel empowered to use these tools, missing in your formation moments that provide the use of these instruments. At the same time, they feel pressured by students, parents and society to make use of technology. Thus, the research results suggest that computer technology applied to education should receive more attention from educational institutions. |
