Resumo: |
This work presents a study on the paths taken by the Brazilian fiction short film, between 2010 and 2019, having as its starting point the first screening of Fantasmas, by André Novais Oliveira (2010). The research starts from this historical moment with the main objectives: to approach the relationship between films and the urban environment; to seek to understand the role of festivals, exhibitions and higher education courses in the construction of the new scenario of the Brazilian short-film cinema, verifying the evidence of the consolidation of this cinematographic format. For this purpose, the theoretical framework is based on the ideas of alternation between action and writing, on the phantasmagoria of capitalism and on the thesis on the concept of history, proposed by Walter Benjamin. The interpretation of Benjamin's theories was based on the writings of Willi Bolle and Michael Löwy. The concepts of territory and multi-territoriality (HAESBAERT) and total cinema (BAZIN) were also considered. The methodological strategies adopted included field research with open interviews with filmmakers André Novais Oliveira and Nathália Tereza. |
