Resumo: |
The gravidness process is an experience that demands an intense psychic work, then situations where pregnancy is only discovered by the time of labor, certainly it brings some increase in the psychic dynamic. Considering that the situation of not having consciousness on pregnancy during its whole process is a situation that requests a lot of questioning to those who dedicate themselves to this topic, this dissertation aimed to understand the psychic implications involved in the phenomenon of non psychotic denial of pregnancy from the report of women who did not know they were pregnant. It was written two sections on this theme: the theoretical section aims to review the literature of denial of pregnancy phenomenon in a context that comprehends an etymological investigation, the historical aspects, the definition of the term by different authors, the difference between the types of denial of pregnancy, the theoretical explanations in the literature, among other aspects. This theoretical section has as its objective a special type of denial of pregnancy in which it is related to women without psychosis diagnosis that did not know about their pregnancy by a great period of time or until labor. The empirical section aimed, through a qualitative methodology, to understand from study cases of women who did not know they were pregnant until labor, the understanding of the psychic dynamic of those who have experienced this experience. Participated in this research three participants who did not know about their pregnancy until labor. They were located by convenience. The participant after signing the Consent Term, participated in a series of three interviews, recorded in audio and transcribed afterwards that along with a sociodemographic data and a structured interview called Mini International Neuropsychiatric Interview that had as an objective to discard or to confirm psychotic symptoms, constituted a study case of each participant. The data analysis was made through the method of Interpretative Analysis of Frederick Erickson. From this analysis it was identified four affirmations which demonstrate: the precariousness in the relationship with their mothers, particular aspects with male figure, fractures in the perception and the compulsion of repetition inherent in this phenomenon thought from the perspective pregnancy of the term disempowerment of pregnancy. The affirmations took into account psychoanalytical tools for its discussion. The study found the possibility that this phenomenon could be understood from a perspective that privileges the psychic field and its psychic dynamics. Therefore this will promote new studies and then it will have more clarification of this experience regarding unconscious aspects. Thus, the results of this research may contribute for the clinical practice with women who were unaware of their pregnancy as well as for health professionals who wish to work with this subject. |
