Resumo: |
This volume presents the research results regarding author's Master's thesis, entitled "Using the results of activities with digital technologies as components of the evaluation: an experience with High Schools students in Biology course" which aimed to investigate the contributions and possibilities of using Blogs, digital videos, and activities in a virtual classroom created in the Moodle environment as elements to support the assessment of student learning regarding Biology class. The research was developed at a public school at Porto Alegre (RS), Brazil, with students of the eleventh and twelfth grade. The research allows us to validate our proposal to include the results obtained by the activities developed using Blogs construction, Power Point presentations, home videos and also the student interactions in the virtual classroom, created in the Moodle environment, as part of the evaluation process. All these activities were selected and supervised by the Biology teacher. This was a qualitative research which uses a naturalistic-constructivist approach. Data were analyzed by Discourse Textual Analysis, as proposed by Galiazzi and Moraes (2007). The results showed that you can use these elements as part of the assessment of students, creating an effective integration between activities done in face-to-face class with those on virtual space. The statements, notes, results and observations made by the researcher showed gains in student learning, their motivation to help each other and also the development of skills and abilities to work cooperatively. |
