Resumo: This thesis addresses the particularities of youth work in a scenario of structural crisis of capital, where the processes of overexploitation of the workforce are accentuated in dependent economy countries, such as Brazil. In the research carried out, it was analyzed how the work of Brazilian youths has been constituted in the face of the overexploitation of the workforce in a context of capital crisis. This research prioritizes a qualitative approach and is guided by Dialectical Historical Materialism. The present study is an exploratory research, seeking an approximation and deepening of the theme, based on bibliographical and documentary research. The bibliographic research took place in the following databases: Scielo and Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD), where the productions published between 2015 and 2020 are being analyzed. interface with the world of work, published in the period between 2015 and 2020. For data analysis, the Discursive Textual Analysis technique was used (MORAES, 2003). Research data reveal that youths make up a privileged segment of the industrial reserve army, favoring the production and reproduction of capital. In addition, informal work and entrepreneurship are two sides of the same coin when analyzing youth work, since the high rates of informality in the work of Brazilian youth are intensified, with the absence of labor protection and the precariousness of work. work, perpetuated in the same way by entrepreneurship. Research data reveal the focus of international agencies and organizations on the development of youth human capital, through the ideology of youth professionalization. In the same way, decent work for the youth presents itself as a civilizing promise that cannot be fulfilled within the framework of capital, by ignoring the trait of capitalist exploitation in any form of work relationship in contemporary society, especially in economies dependents.
