A study on the history of television of Maranhão on the years between 1962 and 1991, focusing on the trajectory of TV Difusora, the first Tv company of Maranhão, and also the state’s first affiliated company to Rede Globo , under the political, mediatical and power perspectives. As the theoretical basis of this thesis, it was used the concepts of coronelism, electronical coronelism and memory, inspired from the studies of Victor Leal, Sérgio Capparelli, Suzy Santos, Lucilia Delgado, Maurice Halbwachs, also the authors Sérgio Mattos e Dominique Wolton. The methodological basis is fundamented on the documental research and narrative interview (EN). Has as it’s main goal, to raise elements for reconstitution of the history of the television on Maranhão, leading from the trajectory of TV Difusora. Fundamenting the thesis, it was used the method of documental research of historical records and journalistic texts published in that period, besides the collection of statements and personal experiences around the theme, obtained from sources: proprietors, directors, journalists, producers, artists and technicians that lived in that time. Those records constitute in important data about the context, processes and conflicts necessary to the reconstitution of the history of the formation of this important communications group. As the main results obtained, there is the finding the action of a complex political web sustaining the interests of the owners of the state’s television companies, through the dirty connections between the media and political power. |
