This master's dissertation is connected with the research line Violence, Crime and Public Security, from the postgraduate program in Criminal Sciences of the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul. The research problem that moves this work is the discursive forms of truth about the subject that circumscribes crime as an object in the brazilian knowledges, specifically, criminal anthropology, criminal juridic and criminal literary knowledges between the end of the nineteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth century, what establishs these knowledges in a space of true. So, the aim of the master's dissertation is to uncover the games of truth about the subject that makes these criminal knowledges, of this period, be placed in a space of true. Two were the hypothesis introduced and confirmed during the research: the primary hypothesis is that each of these criminal knowledges makes visible a singular objectivation of crime, simultaneous temporally, but different from each other because limited by distincts regimes of truth about the human, all contained in the same historical discursive event, the same épistémè, in your historical a priori; the secondary hypothesis is that the coexistence of these regimes of truth in ther brazilian criminal knowledge shows a limit-problematization. In other words, the brazilian criminal knowledge reveals that your constituent problem, the historical a priori of the épistémè where the brazil criminal knowledge is placed – “what the fact of practicing a crime represents, for the human, about his own?” –, arises as a discursive practice of production not only of the objects of the criminal knowledges, but also as a discursive practice of foundation of these criminal knowledges. |
