Resumo: Internal communication is generally presumed as one of the possibilities to improve the different practices carried out by organizations with the aim of humanizing their environments. However, in everyday life this possibility rarely happens. Based on our experience, we developed this research that aims to highlight the main approaches to communication in the [internal] organizational context, to discuss the role of leadership in the process of resignification of this field of communication and to propose alternatives for the resignification of communication in the [internal] context of organizations. In order to meet the proposed objectives, we begin by presenting a vision of society and the contemporary individual, using Han (2015, 2017), Bauman (2007), Lipovetsky (2016), Sennett (2006), Gaulejac (2011), Hall (2001), Morin (2008, 2011), Freitas (1999) and Woodward (2014). In the sequence we seek to contextualize communication and organizational communication anchored by authors such as Wolton (2006, 2010), Marcondes Filho (2008), Oliveira (2009), Lima (2008), and France (2013), emphasizing communication with relational bias in organizational environments, to support our proposal of resignification of communication in the [internal] organizational context. Bueno (2014a, 2014b), Scroferneker and Wels (2015), Sennett (2012), Martin (2008), as well as Zarifian (2001), Wheatley, (2006) and Morin (2015a, 2015b) supported our arguments for development of this proposal. The empirical object consisted of a dynamic of Appreciative Inquiry (COOPERRIDER, WHITNEY, 2006; VARONA, 2009) with market representatives who work with the research theme. As a guiding method of this research, Depth Hermeneutics (THOMPSON, 1995) allowed that we perform the (re) interpretative movements necessary for the scientific study. We highlight, as one of the main results, our proposal to re-signify communication in the internal context of organizations, based on an integrative perspective (MARTIN, 2008) and a cooperative dimension of communication (SENNETT, 2012).
