Resumo: This thesis is part of the line of research Training, Policies and Practices in Education and presents Curriculum Internationalization (IoC) as its central theme, as well as Virtual Academic Mobility. The research intends to answer the following question: What are the perceptions of students of international virtual academic mobility at PUCRS about their experiences in the period 2020 and 2021 that make it possible to qualify the process of international virtual mobility? In this sense, it presents as a general objective to understand the perceptions of students of international virtual academic mobility at PUCRS about their experiences in the period of 2020 and 2021 that make it possible to qualify the process of international virtual mobility. Specific objectives refer to identifying the profile of students who participated in the international virtual academic mobility program; identify students' motivations and expectations to participate in international virtual mobility; verify the technological resources used in the international virtual mobility process; to verify the methodological aspects adopted by the professors during the international virtual mobility; systematize the contributions/benefits of international virtual mobility for student training; to present alternatives that make it possible to qualify the process of international virtual mobility. The methodology adopted to achieve the proposed objectives of this study is of a qualitative nature, carried out through a case study. The research subjects refer to undergraduate and graduate students (master's and doctorate) at PUCRS and universities abroad, with which PUCRS has a virtual mobility agreement, that in the second half of 2020 and in the first and second semester of 2021 held courses, through international virtual mobility. Data collection was developed through an online questionnaire, containing open and closed questions. To process the information, the Discursive Textual Analysis method was used. The theoretical foundation of the study takes place in the light of authors such as Beelen and Jones (2015), Kampff (2019), Knight (2020), Moran (2018), Leask (2015), Morosini (2019), Cerigatto (2018), among others. Finally, it is expected that the elaboration of this research can significantly contribute to present the positive and negative points that emerged from the analysis through the experience revealed by the students, being a possibility of becoming a valuable instrument to inspire Higher Education institutions to reflect and discuss the challenges to be faced, in the planning of the actions involved in the international virtual academic mobility process.
