Resumo: ARTIGO 1 : Determinantes econômicos do índice de percepção de corrupção : uma estimação em painel para as economias mundiais - Corruption is a sensitive issue in many societies around the world, making it difficult to achieve economic and social goals, both in their public and private dimensions. It is a factor that significantly alters the economic and political scenario of countries, and consequently, directly affects all people who are part of a society. This article aims to estimate the macroeconomic determinants that influence the Corruption Perception Index (CPI), using socioeconomic data from 90 countries analyzed in a panel, collected at the World Bank and Transparency International between 2008 and 2020. As a result, highlight variables that obtained significant results in most of the tests performed, such as per capita GDP, indicating that its linear variable has a positive coefficient and the quadratic variable has a negative coefficient, and the variable Inflation, which suggests an inverse relationship between inflation and the Index Perception of Corruption (IPC). ARTIGO 2 : A corrupção e seus efeitos econômicos : resultados a partir de um modelo de equilíbrio geral para o Brasil - Corruption is not something new in Brazil and in the world, but just as it has taken on greater proportions, being more widespread in the world, in Brazil it is no different and the theme has been increasingly deepened and debated in Brazilian society, whether seen how serious corruption can be, affecting the lives of all brazilians. The present study aims to carry out an evaluation, using a Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) model, on the impact of corruption on Brazilian macroeconomic results following the 2015 Brazil Input-Output Matrix (IPM), examining the influence with which Regulation affects sectors of the Brazilian economy, via the balance channel (wing prices) and via the fiscal budget (Government demand). As a result, one can highlight the recession of the Brazilian economy around 1% of GDP in the short term and around 0.5% in the long term, as well as a drop in employment in the short term and the drop in the average real wage in the long term.
