The use of telemedicine and the need of health care for the Brazilian population in the dentistry area have brought up new opportunities for the use of information systems. The Canadian health information system model is a global reference in patient information exchange and its compliance and safety are guiding lines. Our proposal is to create a solution to connect the Brazilian health information system with the Canadian system, through the creation of a communication module and exchange information for possible support and second opinion in complex situations. With the adoption of the module, the integration processes, security, and authentication of the users of the Brazilian system can be simplified.
