This study is guided by the following question: The policy and practice of training educators from kindergarten and elementary school of a school located in Guarulhos provide critical training on the practice, based in continued education for educators in Freire's perspective?. The guiding principles of the proposal and Freire's continuing education practice constitute the theoretical framework that guides the data collection, based on a case study and the analysis of the collected evidence. In addition to the observations, the research makes use of semi-structured interviews, as well as document analysis, approaching the historical context of the city and the current educational context, supported by the literature. The analysis axes are grounded in relations between dialogue and participation. This study is expected to contribute to managers and professors from other school systems that take the principles and practices of education inspired by Freire's thought |
