This study is part of a broader survey under the responsibility of the Chair Paulo Freire, PUC-SP and coordinated by Dr. Ana Maria Saul, entitled "The presence of Brazilian Paulo Freire in Education: Analysis of public systems of education, from the 90's "How to analyze the contribution of Freire's thought. Our research aims to study the ways and means of community participation in school and local MS Anita Catarina Malfatti in Diadema - SP, in which the participation process is already under construction. The analysis is based on the categories Freirean participation and dialogue. Besides the study of Paulo Freire is based on participation in Demo Pedro Lima and Licinius. This research also uses as a reference Celso Vasconcellos, Ilma Passos and others to present studies on the PPP of the school as a collective, a theoretical and methodological tool to be available, (re) constructed and used effectively by those who wish to change. Using a qualitative approach, carried out an ethnographic case study to describe and analyze the daily life of a school in the municipality of Diadema - SP, focusing on the daily processes in the execution of your project. Therefore, it has developed beyond the field observations as a tool to collect data to document analysis and semi-structured interviews. In the data analysis to realize progress in the collective construction with regard to participation and dialogue at various times and involving different subjects for the realization of the PPP, although there are some challenges with opportunities for further progress, the collective construction in that they involve all actors in the execution of the project, which proposed that the school is a space for critical and reflective dialogue that aims to contribute to the formation of citizens with the same characteristics. There are challenges to be overcome on the axes mentioned above that require expansion and quality of dialogue in favor of continuing the construction of a participatory culture for building a democratic school. The school that we studied as well as the Municipality of Diadema has been willing to face and overcome obstacles, as it brings in his ideas and attitudes to achievement of a democratic school, participatory and inclusive |
