Resumo: |
This thesis aims to interpret the labor market behavior during the period between 2011 and 2014, comprising the first term of President Dilma Rousseff. The gap between economic downturn and the systematic improvement in the results of hiring and formalization of jobs was the objective of the research. A historical account of the Brazilian economy was produced from 1990 on which emphasized the consequences on the labor market. In addition, the marxist, utilitarian and keynesian theories to contribute to the interpretation of historical facts have been rescued. The study shows that the labor market has benefited from the development of accumulated income, ensure that promotion of demand despite the reduced private investment, and tax exemptions, which inhibited the volume of dismissals despite the economic downturn |
