Resumo: This thesis concerns transgenic food among which transgenic soy was given greater emphasis, therefore Brazil is the second country in the world in the production of this kind of food, being only outdone by the USA. A great number of researches were conducted about such issue in order to estimate the degree of knowledge of such product. In fact, the answer was quickly obtained; there is not a single country in the world whose population trust in the safety of these products imposed on them by multinational companies, which are deceiving people with sophistry, trying to force upon them and achieving such goal all kinds of genetically modified organisms without any margin of safety. These companies are only using a slogan : eradicate hunger in the third world population. It has already been verified that all this is only a cover up, since there is food for all the people on the surface of the Earth; there is not competent income distribution though
