The general tone of this paper addresses the concentrated control of constitutionality performed by means of direct action of unconstitutionality, essentially, aiming at focusing on nature, reach, and characteristics of laws and regulatory acts for the purposes of abstract inspection carried out on the grounds of Brazilian Supreme Court. Indeed, the referred action poses as an important instrument to ensure the supremacy of rules molded in the Federal Constitution, being a recurring topic in academic studies and in Legal operators´ routine. Therefore during the elaboration of the job herein presented there was an attempt to outline the nuance and particularities of predominant points that characterize it, especially regarding to competence, standing to sue, standing to be sued, lawsuits, judgment, effects and decisions models. Regarding specifically the object of unconstitutionality direct action, core and foundations of research applied, there was an attempt to pay special attention to the several types of laws and regulatory acts subject to concentrated control in light of Brazilian doctrine and Federal Supreme Court jurisprudence |
