Resumo: |
This study proposes to understand how the presidents of Brazil, during the period of democratic stability (1995 – 2016), have been represented like political leaderships, through comic drawings at “Folha de S. Paulo” newspapers. Study of brazilian presidents representations is important because they appear like an integral part of symbolic assignment of that period. Into political leadership phenomena in Brazil, aims to contribute to reflection about the relationship between humor and politics. The paper is divided into five sections: (1) discussion about the relationship between humor and political; (2) descriptions of subject study and characterisation of methodology; (3) analyse of comic drawing on presentation of series; (4) reflexion about the power representations and, at last, (5) final consideration. The intention is to understand how the comic drawing represented the president like a political leader in the most important newspaper of the country, which metaphors are used and what they can say about the most important position in the Republic, even inserts in different political circumstances |
