This dissertation aimed at discussing the implications of the megalomania incidence on a clinical case followed up at a private clinic. Considering such perspective, some possible negative influences of the megalomania as well as the paranoia were studied in the transference establishment and hence in the course of treatment. A possible incidence of megalomania in the transference neurosis, melancholy, paranoia and schizophrenia was taken into account. Such reflection was performed based on psychoanalysis. Sigmund Freud s texts were primarily used. Due to the peculiarity of the clinical case, it was considered the possibility that the patient has started, at the time of the treatment, the construction of an influence machine, such machine was provided by the use of computer science, having its primordial manifestation with the arousal of the computer worldwide Internet.
