Resumo: The present work analyzes violence in its most structural context and how it interferes in the daily sociability of the subjects. To carry out this research, we took the city of São Paulo as a reference, more specifically the central region where the first special reception center for transgender women was installed by the municipal secretary of assistance and social development - SMADS. The paths of this research were covered on a qualitative basis, and under focus group methodology as a privileged source that is used to develop through the communication and interaction of the groups, thus evidencing the collection of data and information that are necessary. In this sense, we inform that the focus group in this research, develops from the trajectories of 5 transsexual women, in the period of reception in the Florescer house and that have their lives marked by the structural violence that is generated in the exclusionary capitalist system and presented here through the search for social protection, as well as centralize their stories in this social space. Violence these, experienced that bear the mark of struggle as a continuous process of reproduction of life in the city of São Paulo. It is in this process that we carry out a dialogue between the more structural context of violence and the theoretical accumulation developed in this research
