Resumo: Investigating the way in which the person with disabilities is presented in the media, the hypothesis arose that the increase in their presence in the media produces a false perception that there is an erasing of prejudices, when what occurs is a subtle process of re-stigmatization. This is because media references continue to make disability a lens to mediate published news about people with disabilities. Even when it comes to the field of art, what comes first is deficiency, not artistic work. Thus, the object of the research is what is being called here re-stigmatization: a media process that produces a 'disguised' stigma in pseudo-'inclusive 'visibility, remembering that the understanding of' inclusion 'will be questioned here ( Lapponi, 20012). The objective is to expose the strength and scope of this media action, which keeps the trait of re-stigmatization and its damages hidden, and to put the use of the concept of inclusion in a critical perspective. The corpus gathers media references to three artistic works, which are linked in different ways with the issue of disability. Two of them are performed by people with disabilities: that of the actor and clown Nando Bolognesi, who has multiple sclerosis, and the work that Bolognesi and I did (I had anoxia during childbirth). And the third, is developed by Fernanda Bianchini, who does not have a disability and developed a ballet method for the blind. The theoretical foundation is based, above all, on Corpomídia Theory (Katz and Greiner), research on disability in the area of Communication (Sousa, 2013; Sassaki, 2003; Skoralick, 2009; Bellini, 2007) and in the artistic field (Cooper Albright, 1997; Benjamin, 2002). The methodology combines bibliographic review, field research and an experience with the mentioned artists. The urgency of making it possible to communicate the work of the handicapped and not their handicap has in art a strong ally to change the situation of those who do not fit the standards of competence of the body that continue to regulate living in society
