Resumo: |
The present study results from the interlocution of Social Work and the Health System and it is conducted by the social worker education. This is a result of inquietudes acting as a Social Work and Researcher in the field in touch with the Brazilian Health Care System reality that pointed the reflection necessity about the human resources education in consonance with the Health System (SUS). Based on what was exposed, the work main goal consists in locating, analyzing and articulating the professional project education according to the National Curriculum Guidelines to the Social Work Schools and the national debate about the health professional education. Specifically for this purpose, it was reflected about the discussions involving the social worker education and the Social Work trajectory focusing the Health System field. The adopted methodology was the qualitative approach having as a first moment a documental research. As a second moment, a field research was taken on a semi-structured interview basis. The used sampling was the intentional: four leading academic social workers that discuss the social worker education were selected. They were chosen by their experience in the field or by representing the Social Work in multi-professional spaces. It was observed that the most of the Curriculum Guidelines are positively analyzed and they are also a collective response to quality educational needs and the existence of many elements that demand a discussion and their operationalization in the universities. On the other hand, some positions divert on the way a professional should intervene according to the guidelines and on how the discussion on the profession has been taken. It was also evident that the Social Work and the Health System relationship, mediated by changes in the politics after the 1988 Constitution and the Health System (SUS) establishment, as well the integrality, intensifies the social workers participation in the Health Sector. However, the Social Work participation in the national graduation courses changing movement in the health sector, by means of the National Education Forum of Health Sector Professions (Fnepas), is building up. Opposite positions about the Social Work range and participation in the movement are shown. It is noticed that there are blanks in the Curriculum guidelines not filled yet and they indicate that is necessary to make the debate on the education project wider, as well to introduce the question about the human resources to the health sector, specially on an interdisciplinary perspective where the knowledge and experiences exchange can consolidate a new professional kind on the Health sector |
