Resumo: |
The dissertation "The Theology of Barthian Proclamation and Its Intersection with Sentient Intelligence" aimed to investigate the integration between Karl Barth's theology of proclamation and Xavier Zubiri's philosophy of sentient intelligence in homiletic practice. The central hypothesis is that combining these ideas offers a deeper and more integral approach to homiletics. It is justified by the need to integrate theological and philosophical perspectives to enrich contemporary preaching. Theoretically, it explores Barth's emphasis on revelation and the Word of God and Zubiri's direct apprehension of reality by sentient intelligence. Methodologically, textual analysis and hermeneutic approaches are used. The results indicate that integrating Barth's and Zubiri's perspectives provides a more complete preaching, combining fidelity to divine revelation with sensitivity to the listeners' reality. Sentient homiletics suggests preaching that engages the whole being of the listener, using symbolic language and sensory experiences |
