Resumo: This study has as its main purpose to investigate the birth, the evolution and the first results of an interdisciplinary educative practice. Based in a referential of authors from Europe, such as Agazzi, Braido, Gauthier, Lenoir, Morin, Penati, Sersale e Pinau, and from Brazil, Freire, Japiassu and, mainly, Fazenda, it seeks initially a critical history overview of european published works from the 60s to the 90s about questions of interdisciplinarity in education, when this proposal started to be studied. It describes an educational intervention during some 20 years starting from a reverberation of a dream from Dom Bosco. It shows ways for an interdisciplinary education, breaking through a cracked vision of knowledge built from the reflexion of the interdisciplinary education process in different steps. It comes up with the vision of a graduated educator, able to create an environment in which faith, culture and life are put together by the educative relations. It is an investigation here called researchaction- intervention where the context of a christian education, its limits and possibilities are considered. The methaphor of Dom Bosco`s dream appears in the whole process as something that goes along with all the way. The research points out the importance of planning that when it is built and followed carefully, it reaches interdisciplinary moments where is faced up questions like, for example, the strong competition that exists at school. This study shows that it is possible to get the curricular transformation, bringing back the pastoral dimension and the role of the educator that goes beyond the simple tranmission of knowledge, seeking the evangelical way of the culture where the recuperation of the being sense is questioned continuously. Faith, culture and life gets together in everyday`s life
