Supervisão acadêmica de estágio em Serviço Social: um estudo no Estado de São Paulo

Resumo: This study is a result of the analysis of the Social Work Internship with an Academic Supervision guided by the vocational training process. The practice as a Social Work Professor, researcher inserted in the struggles of the class through representative organs as CRESS and ABEPSS, incitated concerns which induced to ponder about the matter of vocational training and its sintony with the internship conducted by the Academic Supervision aligned with the teaching. Thus, the general objective was to locate, analyze and articulate the Social Work Internship with an Academic Supervision to the vocational training project; and at the same time, recognize and identify the strategies adopted and better understand the prospects and challenges faced by teachers in this activity. For that, the study analyzed both quantitative and qualitative dimensions, in a complementarity aspect seeking greater understanding regarding context and conjuncture, which occurs in the Academic Supervision activity. By means of bibliographical and documentary study followed by mapping the expansion of Social Work graduation courses in Brazil the last two years, it was possible to demonstrate that usually there is close relationship between the current spread level of classroom courses and distance education and the challenges to the vocational training project and consequently the internship. The research universe comprised courses with active groups in Supervised Internship, classroom courses, public and private administrative category, in the State of São Paulo, Southeastern region of Brazil. The research group consisted of five Academic Supervisors and, for the data gathering, it was used two complementary instruments: the interview and questionnaire. Some subjects during the interview aroused reflections in the participants, translated here into categories of analysis, such as: from vocational training to the exercise of Teaching in Social Work; organization of Supervised Internship in the Higher Education Institution; the place and the meaning of the Academic Supervision, the development of Academic Supervision; the challenges of Teaching during the Academic Supervision: limits and prospects. Teaching became a significant labor field, with more than six thousand courses around the country, however, the Academic Supervision lacks place and meaning, against the lack of resources. Problems and complaints pointed by the interviewed subjects and observed in the researched data, although they be cannot generalized, indicate the existence of power relationships that affect the internships and employment dispute, implying directly in the act of Supervision. The initiatives of representative entities still incipient. The Academic Supervision, as a discipline that provides the link between university and professional practice, the university and the society, still faces obstacles in its execution. For that, it was pointed possible diagnosis regarding the development and evaluation of the internship process, such as integrating component of the resume, an instrument to measure the effectiveness of the Political Pedagogical Course Project, of the Internship Policy, the quality of vocational training, among others
