Resumo: |
This thesis analyzes the Brazilian Social Work s professionalism through a critical review of its historic, theoretical-methodological s foundations, and the framing of its ethical-political profession project centralized on a legal and normative statute to set up the profession s specificity and legitimacy. It comes from the comprehension that a profession is made up in the society constitution, in the dynamic between the State interference in response to the production mode development and the tension between society projects as well as in the theoretical, technical and ethical constructo inherent to a professional project that complies with social needs. The main finding is that the Social Work s professionalism is dynamized by its fragility and legitimacy which demands from its organizations more visibility, vocalization and its attributions bound on social and technical Work s division. The constitution of legitimacy of the professionalism was set in the historic re-democracy process and affirmation rights culture context that stimulated new social and institutional requests based on the theoretical-methodological and ethical-political professional foundations. From the critics to the skills pattern and its influence on education and work it s possible to find a trend on the profession that is to make references and parameters that stake skills and attributions in specific areas. In this thesis were examined the Social Assistance and Health Parameters largely divulgated as an expression to deny functions and prerogatives delimitations. This study intends to question the main interpretations of what could be the social in the Social Theory as to present elements that seal the prevalence of social jobs that are highly generalizing of prejudice and programmed rules of the social, without thereby eliminating the possibilities of increase hidden values on the contradictory routine. The skills pattern applied to Social Work is unsatisfying particularly in the disqualified professional training context under perspective of central dimension of knowledge production and qualification on the skills setting process and attributions ethically orientated |
