Resumo: |
This dissertation analyzes the Gymnastics for All sport modality, aiming to identify characteristics related to the training of Physical Education professionals from the perspective of critical pedagogies. This study was motivated by the characteristics of the modality itself—a gymnastic practice that allows the participation of any human being, regardless of race, social level, age, gender, physical or technical condition; its playful aspect and the absence of rigid rules for its practice. This qualitative research is developed through document analysis and points out the paths of the physical educator's role from the critical perspective presented by Paulo Freire. The analysis focuses on the guiding document of the Sesc Sports Program, Sesc-SP, the characteristics of the critical educator, and the concepts of Gymnastics for All. The results demonstrate that the dialogue between Freirean autonomy, Gymnastics for All, and the guidelines of the Sesc Sports Program is established in the search for emancipation and active participation of individuals in bodily practice. The research reinforces that this modality finds fertile ground in the educational context, not only within Sesc São Paulo but also in any scenario that aims to work on inclusion and autonomy as a form of human development |
