Its object is the Campos Elíseos Paulistano neighborhood, the historical transformations and the life trajectories of the subjects, who live in the region. The neighborhood is located in the central region of the metropolis of São Paulo and bears the marks of societal transformations that occurred between the end of the nineteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth century, the period of industrialization of the country. Thus, the research was structured from the social dynamics. of the region, emphasizing the debate on urban and housing issues and participatory processes, marking the 2000s as a central element of the ongoing territorial disputes. This period marks the beginning of the works of urban revitalization interventions conducted by the State and Municipal government, in partnership with the private initiative.
