Resumo: |
This research aims to analyze the post-human traces in the aesthetic relations of audiovisual production, with a special focus on the social network TikTok and its filters that transform faces into spectral figures. The methodology adopted is a bibliographical one, building an intellectual repertoire based on post-human theories, aesthetics and semiotic analysis to identify points of convergence and divergence on the subject, in addition to exploring how this influence of the post-human has been confirmed in specific audiovisual productions as indexes of the aesthetic turn of the post-human. The study reveals that image manipulation apps provide a creative power that allows people to create multiple versions of themselves and experiment with different aesthetic possibilities. However, this ease also leads to an incessant search for the ideal, smooth and youthful appearance, even if it is an unrealistic idealization. Social pressures and aesthetic standards significantly influence society, leading many to pursue perfection and distance themselves from their own human nature, thus approaching the post-human ideal. This search for a transformed appearance boosted the demand for aesthetic and surgical procedures, making these services more financially accessible. The result is an appearance-obsessed culture, which can have negative consequences for people's mental health and self-esteem people |
