Resumo: |
This research studied science teaching and the most specific way to teach electricity between the period of the Caetano de Campos reform (1892) until the educational reform Francisco Campos (1931). It is intended to understand how the teaching of electricity, specific contents for the discipline of physics at the time, instructions and and the possibilities for your practical teaching. The research questions are: What was electricity teaching? How does it appear in the prescriptions? Were there representations about electricity, in addition to highlighting its content? What activities and teaching materials were used for classes? The documents studied are norms, instructions on teaching in the state of São Paulo; documents related to the Public Instruction of the State Archive; Teaching Yearbooks; teaching journals. The authors Paulo Bourroul and Macedo Soares and a Library of the Localization Textbook at the Faculty of Education of the University of São Paulo. The scientific objects that are part of the historical collection of the Marist Archdiocesan College of São Paulo will also be studied. There is a hypothesis that electricity has gained importance because it has, above all, been an indicator of progress, that is, a representation in addition to the scientific content that has also been evaluated and valued in teaching |
