This dissertation aims to reflect on the creative relationship between women, writing and traveling. Thus, I discuss the construction of the literary territory and the constitution of the modern notion of authorship so as to construct a utopic literary territory. Although the sexual division of mobility and the sexual division of authorship have symbolically situated women in the domestic reproductive sphere, they have travelled – literally and metaphorically – and they have written from their own perspective. Out of location politics, I have made cartographies of the ways in which women construct themselves
