Resumo: |
This master's thesis deals with education for work in the context of toyotism, as a process which forms and organizes work. In this scenario, the companies demand qualified and competent workers by virtue of the use of new technologies and new management techniques for the production process and provision of services. The issue of the research was finding out if the curricular and pedagogical structures of two high technology courses in logistics, of a public and private college, in the city of Guarulhos, enable students to obtain professional skills for their insertion and permanence in the job market. The general objective of the research was to analyze similarities and differences between the courses of both colleges, in the perception of a sample of graduates students and teachers of the institutions, in the development of professional skills for employability. The hypothesis assumes that the course of the private college promotes the acquisition of the competences to the students less than the public one. The results of the research demonstrated that the guiding hypothesis was inconclusive, and pointed out similarities and differences between both colleges in the respective courses |
