Resumo: |
This research examines emergence and systems in social networking websites. The investigation seeks to answer the problem of the systemical conceptualization of the virtual sociability and its emergent dynamics. The research purposes the systemic ontology, founded on General Systems Theory, as cientific ontology for the studies in communication and cyberculture. From this basis are discussed fundamental concepts for a systemic analysis of the sociability in networking websites, such as system, emergence, complexity, property, feedback, fluctuation, metastability. The internet is an environment conducive to coupling systems and the formation of emergent properties. From this perspective, the virtual sociability is considered as an emergent property of the cyberculture. In its rational and logical support, the research is based on systemic theory of Bunge, Prigogine, Holling, Uyemov and Vieira, to delineate a theoretical model of coupling systems in the virtual sociability. In the empirical support, the research brings a case, following the systemic analysis method, of the Aleteia.org website |
