Societies around the world are in constant transformation due to the influences of technology, globalization, and various migratory movements. In this context, the importance of bilingualism stands out, as more than half of the world's population currently communicates in a language other than their native language. Recent scientific studies have demonstrated the positive and beneficial impacts of bilingualism. Given this scenario, the objective of this research is to understand the experiences of eight young Brazilian bilinguals who began their elementary education in Brazil, later migrated with their families to the United States of America, attended American schools, and are now considered bilingual, with Portuguese as their mother tongue and English as their second language.
