This paper aims to investigate the role of myth in Cassirer's philosophy of symbolic forms. The study centres around the question: does myth correspond to the original core of every symbolic form? The main objective is to ensure that each cultural construction is recognised in its unique and affirmative character. To facilitate the investigation, the study is divided into three parts: a contextualisation of Cassirer's philosophy and its relationship with neo-Kantianism, especially Marburg neoKantianism; an analysis of the Philosophy of Symbolic Forms, exploring its definitions and problems; and an investigation of the symbolic forms of Language and Myth
