Resumo: This work aims to fill a gap by rescuing from oblivion the poetic work of the writer, journalist, novelist, intellectual and congresswoman, Adalgisa Nery (1905-1980), whose journey begins with the experience of a sensitive childhood, full of dreams and imagination, the latter essential to poeticity according to Gaston Bachelard (2018). Her poetic journey begins with the autobiography The Imaginary (1959) and her poems, full of biographematic traits, communicate with her life (Merleau-Ponty, 1984), which makes us resort to the concepts of Autobiographical Pact, by Philippe Lejeune (2008), and Biographeme, by Roland Barthes (2015a; 2005). Adalgisa Nery, born in the Laranjeiras neighborhood, published texts between the 1930s and 1960s, being a reference in poetry and political journalism.
