Resumo: |
This research analyzes the stimulus, instilled by its directors, in cinema films. To achieve the objective of this research we used as a means of investigation, an intentional sample of films belonging to a Brazilian artistic movement known as Cinema Novo. In the films that make up the sample, namely: Rio 40 Graus (1955); Cat Leather (1962); – Which is part of the feature film 5 times favela, of the same year – Menino de Engenho (1965) and Lição de Amor (1975). responsible for this process of socialization of these characters. The objective is, through the analysis of the stimulus contained in these films, to collect elements that show characteristics of this formation process. The research is about stimulus, but it does not depart from the education theme. In order to analyze the formation processes aimed at in this intentional sample of films, the critical theory of Society is used as a theoretical reference, investigating the impossibility of emancipation through education in a society administered to the detriment of emptied experiences and the repressive character as an impediment to free and critical thinking. The trajectory of the characters in these institutions, marked by excessive control, shows how the ideology that legitimizes an economic superstructure corroborates with the pseudoformation of the individual and with the reproduction of social and economic relations within an administered society |
