Resumo: |
In a global context in which the international agenda is increasingly demanded - and demanding - in terms of scope and themes, notwithstanding the need for increasingly effective mechanisms, the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development has stood out. The following study, at first, presents the OECD as an international organization - its structure, its functioning -, to later on enter the particular universe of its performance, with all its peculiarities. Subsequently, analysing its relations with Brazil - a country not yet a member of the Organization -, it is brought to light the level of interaction between the two parties, sharing, further on, a series of thoughts and perspectives regarding the circumstances related to this candidate for accession. Not last in importance, more profound questions about the future of International law are then raised |
