Resumo: The nature of the present project is stablished by the seek for developing epistemological reflection concerning the formative structure of the religious science, where the methods' concept is the fundamental element in this study and in the religious fenomenous interpretation.Therefore, this work has as its main goal to discuss the elements resulting from the philosophical sphere, more precisely the René Descaster's rationalism and Francis Bacon's empiricism, that might contibute on the scientific study of religion, especially as regards the structures of formation of this science, mainly on what is dominated about the method. This work is resulted from theoretical bibliographic research, where authors such as Frank Usarski, Klaus Hock, Ivo Pedro Oro, Hans-Jürgen Greschat, Giovanni Filoramo, Carlo Prandi, Dominique Lambert and Michel Meslin, Rudolf Otto, Max Müller, Steven Engler, Michael Stausberg and Eduardo R. Cruz formed a base for the explanation of a episthemologic structure of the religion science, as well as the authors José Ferrater Mora, Martial Gueroult, Geovanni Reali, Dário Antiseri, Pedro Demo, Hilton Japiassu, Urbano Zilles, Johannes Hessen, Bernardo Jefferson de Oliveira Justin Skirry, Érico Andrade, Claudinei Luiz Chintolina and Edgar Morin whom composed the basis for the clarification in the science and method concept as far as presenting plausibilities in the dialogue about the regilious scientific study with Descartes and Bacon’s epistemological aspects, demonstrating that religious science is unquestionably an area with autonomy, which indirectly needs epistemological structures from another areas, for its own construction as a scientific area, as well as in the method’s concept applicability
