Resumo: The present dissertation, amidst the contemporary crisis of faith and values that man experiences, is an invitation to look at Mary of Nazareth, assumed into heaven. So, based on Mother Teresa's spiritual conferences, we sought to understand in which direction Mary's virtuous life points for contemporary man. She is, at the same time, a model and an eloquent call for change. Mother Teresa emphasizes the extraordinary way in which Mary lived her ordinary life: “in the midst of the most absorbing occupations, she remained collected, giving her entire life to her Son, occupying her thoughts with Him. Mary lived her maternal role in complete harmony with the Son, giving yourself to Him with generosity and constancy” (MOTHER TERESA, 2013, p. 509). Thus, through this research, it can be said that the answers that today's man seeks in a distressing way might be found in Mary's life. So, this exodus woman is rediscovered as a feasible path of following and configuring with Christ, as a sign of hope, and as an interpellation and response. The path taken to this conclusion was through Sacred Scripture, Tradition, and the Magisterium, and, especially, the process of construction and discernment was developed in Mother Teresa's spiritual conferences
