Resumo: The research examine the counter-hegemonic communication contract presented in the Civilização Brasileira magazine, communication vehicle that were published from 1965 until 1968, when it publication was stopped due to the Institutional Act number five, established by the militaries during the dictatorial brazilian regime. We want to investigate the nuances of the counter-hegemonic language, how it directs to the enunciate and scan the discourses that cross this very few searched alternative media, we are going to analyze as well the sociological and historical issues that permeate the magazine. In spite of following the Marxist ideology as writing horizon, the enunciate has not limited itself to burocratic visions of the orthodox Marxism, always trying to bring the aspect of the historical materialism propose by Marx and Engels the political and social analyzes on that time. It will be examined how the enunciate construct the counter-hegemonic discourse, that presents divergences with the status quo and the language presented by the hegemonic media.
