Resumo: The present work establishes the study of a child who was presented as having a visual deficit with great probability of getting blind, which would turn into an inclusion case and following the case will be the subject of this study. This visual deficit was supposed to be a characteristic of Bardet-Biedl syndrome. From the moment we ve contacted the school the option of performing a study using different professional views about the child has been made. By analysing the school documents and reports, and through the child s direct observation would contribute for the knowledge of the school inclusion process of people with such disorder. However, it was detected that the disorder was, in fact, a case of school failure production and therefore, an exclusion. Based on that evidence we ve opted to presenting a report of this child s knowledge process through a case study about the inclusion of a child with visual deficit in a regular class. As the school stated, it flows to slowly reveal of subtle exclusion process which shows that a wide and effective school inclusion requires radical changes of school staff and structure
