The present dissertation has as subject the teaching learning of writing - concepts and methods. The study had place in the Culture Circles (CC) of Adult Basic Education (ABE), in the city of Praia. It s objective was to analyze the processus of teaching learning of writing in the point of view of the sócio-interactionist studies of knowledge appropriation, and has as final purpose to present leads for the creation of didactic instruments useful in the improvement of the teaching learning of writing quality in the ABS s CCs. The hypothesis that guided this study is that quality of appropriation of writing depends on the pedagogic and methodological procedures that guide the apprentices in the CCs. For that reason the departing question was: how is caracheterized the teaching learning of writing in the ABS s CC s in Cap Verde, given the options for the different concepts and methods? The choice of this particular problem to investigate can be justified by six arguments (see the sub chapter justification), uppermost among them: 1st - lack of studies made on the ABE with scientific rigor; 2nd existence in the CCs of different methods (Pedagogia do Texto, Método de Conscientização e Alfabetização Solidária); 3rd need to improve the quality of writing appropriation by the apprentices and, 4th personal and professional motivations. The data was collected by the method of observation (directly and indirectly) of the pedagogical practices of the animators with their apprentices in 5 CCs, being 3 of the 1st level and 2 of the 3rd level. The two levels corresponding to the beginning and end of the ABE. The data collecting instruments were elaborated in close relation with the questions under investigation having in mind: 1st to identify the differences and likenesses of the three concept in study; 2nd to characterize the writing practices in the different CCs according to the specific orientation of each concept,; 3rd describe the methodological procedures for the teaching learning of writing in use in the different CCs; and 4th to gain awareness of the principal causes and effects of each of the adopted procedures |
